When we first began our careers, genetic companies were run by our colleagues. These colleagues were available to us 24/7 and would answer emails and provide top notch service not only to patients but to us as well. Those days are gone. Now these companies are run by large multi-million dollar, big businesses that require a call to 1-800 number and multiple emails just to inquire about results. Frustrated, we wondered what happened to customer service? What happened to putting the patient first? IVF is personal, shouldn't genetic testing be personal too? With that in mind, we started Ally Genetics. A company whereby patients get our cell phone numbers, where we are accessible not only to the patient but to the referring clinic and doctors. The testing utilizes the same technology as everyone else but the experience is how do we say, personal. Our goal is simple, to be transparent with our testing methods and results, and to always, always put the patient first.
We are not owned by big business; we don't want to be. We don’t want to run thousands of samples a day. We want to remain small; we want to remain patient focused.
With over 40 years of experience in the genetics and IVF field, rest assured we understand what PGT entails. Additionally, due to our 20+ years in embryology, we also understand how to help and guide embryologists and IVF labs through the PGT process as well.
Many PGT labs are privately owned however there really is no difference between them in terms of technology. So, when you switch to another PGT lab, all you are getting is a different email to contact and 1800 number to call. Ally Genetics is different, we desire partnerships. It all begins with the requisition form. From there, the patient and partner will immediately receive a welcome email with our phone number and email. Additionally, the lab will automatically receive a copy of the biopsy worksheet already filled out with the corresponding patient information. Our goal is to make this process as seamless and easy for the patient and the embryologist.
